Welcome to the Privacy Policy for Real Music. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring complete transparency about how your data is handled. By inviting Real Music to your Discord server or using its features, you consent to the data practices described below.
1. How We Read Messages (Message Content Intent)
Real Music features a dedicated Music Request Channel. When a server administrator configures this channel, the bot actively reads all messages sent within that specific channel to automatically search for and play music without requiring a command prefix.
- No Storage: The text you type in this Request Channel is immediately processed as a search query (e.g., via YouTube or Spotify) and is not logged, saved, or stored in our database.
- Channel Isolation: The bot only reads message content in the specific channel designated by the server administrator or when a command prefix is explicitly used.
2. Exactly What Data We Store
To provide our features, Real Music stores the following specific data points in our database:
User Data:
- Identification: Your Discord User ID.
- Profiles: Your custom bio and earned bot badges (Beta, Bug Hunter, Mod).
- AFK System: Your current AFK status, the custom AFK reason you provide, the server ID where you went AFK, and the timestamp.
- Economy & Stats: Your Top.gg vote count, vote timestamps, RC Coin balance, total songs listened to, and total commands executed.
- Custom Playlists: Playlist names, the audio tracks/URLs saved within them, whether the playlist is public/team-based, share codes, and the user IDs of people who liked it.
Guild (Server) Data:
- Identification & Config: The Discord Server ID, custom prefix, and DJ Role ID.
- Channels: The specific text and voice channel IDs configured for the bot, including the Music Request Channel ID and its active interface Message ID.
- Premium & Audio: 24/7 mode status, current volume, autoplay preferences, and Server Boost expiration dates.
- Autoresume: If Autoresume is enabled, the bot temporarily stores the title, URL, duration, and requester of the currently playing song so it can resume automatically if the node restarts.
3. How We Use Your Data
